Shaw Vineyard harvests its grapes by hand in both its own vineyards and those of its local grape suppliers. No grapes used at Shaw Vineyard are harvested by machine.
The annual harvest date varies, but in most years the grapes are left on the vine for extended periods to concentrate flavors and sugars. The majority of Shaw Vineyard’s grapes are harvested between late-October and mid-November.
