The Facility
Shaw Vineyards’ production facility is packed tightly with tanks and equipment within heavily insulated walls, reflecting Steve Shaw’s vision for a facility that is energy efficient (the tank room rarely requires heat in the winter). The barrel room is located underground, beneath the tasting room, which provides some residual heat for the facility.

The production facility at Shaw Vineyard does not hide the winemaking process, and visitors are often able to view destemming and pressing during the harvest season and bottling at various times of the year. Private tours and tastings are available on a limited basis with an additional tasting fee (please call ahead).
